Abstract
This article is devoted to the phonetic means of expressing Russian intonation in the speech of the Chinese. Intonation is an important super-segmented means of phonetics, Russian intonation is interpreted: 1) as a combination of rhythm, melody, pause, intensity (tension), duration, timbre, etc; 2) intonation is closely connected with the inner world of people, their ideas and feelings, it helps the speaker to achieve his communicative goal; 3) intonation is the acoustic embodiment of the grammatical structure of the language.
