Abstract
This article discusses the experience of analyzing a dramatic work by interpreting the image of the garden in Chekhov’s play «The Cherry Orchard», as well as proposes the definition of the term «image-symbol of the garden». The work is devoted to the problem of the analysis of the play «The Cherry Orchard» in the aspect of figurative analysis.
