Abstract
The article offers an analysis of the poetics of the theme of childhood in the works of V. Levanov based on the material of the play «Peeps» and «Mother-death». This topic is significant for understanding the world picture of the modern playwright, as it reflects his ideas about the unstable position of man in a disharmonious reality.
