Abstract
The concept «love» is not specifically Austrian, but becomes significant in the context of the idea of decay, loss of harmony and wholeness of the world. In the novel «» the concept is related to two kinds of love – bodily and spiritual. Two kinds of love are the part of the whole, reflect the idea of absolute unity of the opposite.
