Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the influence of the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902 on the transformation of Winston Churchill's worldview based on the analysis of his autobiography and newspaper notes. The author identifies the events of Churchill's biography related to his participation in the Anglo-Boer War, which influenced the formation of his personality. The conclusion is made about the importance of military “experiences” for the formation of beliefs and life principles of an individual.
