Abstract
The article analyzes how the concepts of good and evil are expressed from a linguistic point of view in M.A. Bulgakov's novel "The Master and Margarita". Words and expressions associated with these concepts, their meanings and ways of using them in the text are considered. Particular attention is paid to the etymological origin of the words "good" and "evil", analysis from the side of cognitive linguistics.
