Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of the problem of reproduction of memories by consciousness and its reflection in the novel «Aviator» by E. G. Vodolazkin. Also the role of the work of memory is also revealed and a compositional function is emphasized. During the research, the problem is analyzed in various aspects: through understanding the history and time in the artistic and philosophical world of the novel, through directly the memory and nature of the memories of the human mind and the resurrection of the hero through the text.
