Abstract
The article explores the genre features of Sasha Nikolayenko's book "People lived as always. Notes of Fedi Bulkin, "its connection with the Christian tradition, with the work of F. M Dostoevsky is revealed, an analysis of the image of the hero is carried out in the context of comprehending the theme of a little man in Russian classics.
