Abstract
Expressive syntactic units as a text-forming element embody the motifs and mood of Boris Ryzhy’s poems. Figures of speech, organizing the poetic text, become representatives of the author's style. The article examines such units of expressive syntax as inversion, rhetorical conversion and antithesis, which are a distinctive feature of the poet's idiosyncrasy.
