Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of archetypal motifs manifested in the novel "Quiet Don" by M.A. Sholokhov, and their significance for understanding the deep structure of the work. The author explores religious, folklore, and elemental archetypes that form the narrative and emotional pages of the novel, as well as determine the characters and fates of the characters.
