Abstract

The article analyzes the plot features of play «Mutter» by V. Durnenkov through the prism of musical compositions. In the works of the Tolyatti playwright, the transcendent principle is often realized, associated with an attempt to overcome the boundaries of the real-unreal, the earthly-supernatural. Music plays an essential role in understanding the world picture of the modern playwright, as it is a link between the two worlds of human existence.
