Abstract

This article provides an overview and analysis of the New York School of poets, a key phenomenon in the history of twentieth-century American literature. The aesthetics of the New York School are analyzed, including an experimental approach to poetry, play with language and form, and openness to new ideas. Discusses the influence of this school on the contemporary literary scene and what elements and approaches were borrowed by other authors.
