Abstract
This article examines the nature and functioning of political discourse in V. Sharov's novel "The Kingdom of Agamemnon". Its peculiarity is the interaction with various forms of ego texts, which leads to the specificity of the functioning of the historical narrative. The nature of the representation of history is considered, the tendency of its narrativization is revealed. The author defines the role of political discourse in the structure of historical consciousness, as well as the reasons for the deconstruction of this phenomenon in the text under study.
