Abstract
Over the past decade, East Asian culture, in particular, literature has begun to actively penetrate the West. Thus, Japanese haiku and tanka went far beyond the borders of their native country and adapted to the conditions and mood of other cultures. This article is devoted to the "eastern" poems of the South Ural poet Nikolai Boldyrev and how classical Japanese lyrics are transformed in modern Russian poetry.
