Abstract
Abstract: The article discusses the features of the genre of « non-life » on the example of «The Tale of Peter and Fevronia» by A. M. Remizov. Based on reflections on the hagiographic canon, the authors of the study correlate the text of the Old Russian story and the retelling of A. M. Remizov, and identify elements that go beyond the framework of hagiographic literature. The paper proves the importance of folklore elements in the work of A. M. Remizov.
