Abstract
The article reveals the means of creating a satirical reflection of the image of Charles, Prince of Wales, in the dystopian dilogy of the British writer Sue Townsend "The Queen and I" and "Queen Camilla". Among the highlighted techniques used by the author, special attention is paid to the symbolic meaning of the image of the garden and the bird.
