Annotation. The article examines the mechanisms of formation of images of political leaders of the "participating countries" of the Korean War in the publications of Soviet periodicals. The source base consists of issues of Ogonyok magazine, Krokodil and Pravda newspaper from July 1950 to August 1953. With the help of qualitative content analysis, specific linguistic features were identified when describing the heads of state who directly or indirectly took part in the Korean War.

Based on a review of scientific literature, the author defines the phenomenon of flanking. To promote their activities, flâneurs use new media tools – social networks. Such communities play several roles at once: forming a local agenda, focusing attention on certain problems, mediatizing the social sphere of the city and involving the population in the media process, as well as forming a community of “interests”. The author puts forward a hypothesis that these communities are primarily aimed at “selling” events, and analyzes the media support of a specific flanning project in Chelyabinsk – the “Panels and Flanning” community.

This study examines the differences between biographical and autobiographical myths, their formation and development, as well as the role of "resonators" (people or communities that preserve and disseminate information about the author) in this process. The author emphasizes the resilience of the autobiographical myth, reinforced by the authority of the author’s own word, and the flexibility of the biographical myth, which is subject to changes and interpretations by various "resonators." Examples from the lives and works of notable figures such as Andrei Bely, Gennady Aygi, and Daniil Kharms illustrate the interaction of myths with biography and their importance for understanding creativity. The conclusion of the study points to contemporary methods of mythologizing authors, including the influence of the internet space, anonymity, and the specificity of the virtual environment.
